Mark Lanier has long been considered among Gospel Music's favorite artists. He is also a noted
composer and many of his songs are known as gospel classics. Mark started singing at the age of four in his local church in
the small community of Central, AL Mark and his brothers, Jeff and Kevin, were in the choir while Mark's father
directed the music and his mother played the piano. He served at several churches as music minister and youth director. Mark
has enjoyed an interesting musical career from a cast member and stage manager of Opryland's "Country Music USA" and
"Today's Country Roads" to his current work as a solo artist. Mark spent five years with the Bibletones, seven years with
Perfect Heart, a highly-acclaimed and awarded quartet and the last few years with Poet Voices. He was a top five nominee for
favorite Baritone seven years in a row. He now feels God has even more for him to do. Mark as always been destined to sing
his songs of praise, but even more, to be used by God to touch the hearts of others.
Mark's songwriting has taken off in the past few years. He's had songs recorded by artists like:

Mark has ministered in places like: Scotland, Ireland, England, Canada, The Bahamas, and has
sung on TBN, GMT, TNN, ISPN, The National Quartet Convention, and the Bill Gaither Homecoming. Mark is listed in the "Achievers"
at the Alabama Music Hall of Fame.
Mark, his wife Paula (of 19 years), son Jacob (9), and John Mark (3) make their home in
Ball, LA near Paula's mom and dad.
